I’m Annabel — educator, consultant, and neurodivergent advocate with lived experience of autism, ADHD, anxiety, and PTSD. I founded Thriving Minds Education to support individuals, families, educators, and organisations to better understand and affirm neurodivergent experiences.
Through training, consulting, and practical resources, I help create inclusive, strengths-based environments where neurodivergent and disabled people are supported, respected, and able to thrive.

I’m a neurodivergent educator and founder of Thriving Minds Education, with a background in early childhood education and a passion for inclusive, affirming practice.
I was diagnosed as autistic at 30, and with ADHD soon after. Like many, I experienced burnout in a system that wasn’t built for minds like mine. That experience led me to create Thriving Minds Education in 2017 — combining my lived and professional experience to advocate for meaningful change.
Since then, I’ve delivered professional learning, spoken at conferences, consulted with schools and organisations, and created tools that support understanding, regulation, and connection.
I offer engaging, evidence-informed training sessions tailored for educators, support staff, service providers, and community organisations. Topics include:
- Understanding Autism, ADHD & Neurodivergence
- Trauma-Informed & Neuroaffirming Practice
- Emotional Regulation & Sensory Processing
- Creating Inclusive Learning Environments
